Remarks: Though the juvenile carapaces recovered are not well preserved, they display the subovoid to subrectangular outline in lateral view and the slightly convex dorsal margin of instars of this species, as described by the emended description provided by Guzmán et al. (2022). Based on the measurements provided by the same authors, the carapaces recovered in the present work potentially represent the A2 instar.

Occurrences: PS-10-CE: AM-7 (101.54 m), AM-32 (35.85 m).

Stratigraphic and geographic distribution: Aptian, Barbalha Formation (this study), Crato Formation ( Silva-Telles Jr & Viana 1990; Guzmán et al. 2022), Araripe Basin, Brazil. Middle to upper Aptian, Alagamar Formation, Potiguar Basin, Brazil ( Do Carmo et al. 2013)
