*22. Colotis evagore antigone ( Boisduval, 1836)
WL: 16mm. A new record for Guinea-Bissau, this subspecies occurs in savanna along most of Continental Africa south of the Sahara, with the nominate subspecies restricted to Yemen. The caterpillars feed on several species of Capparaceae .
Studied material. Cacheu: Caió, two specimens only (JB).
Probable abundance and proposed status. AB: R; CS: VU.
