Derorhynchus cf. D. minutus Goin et al., 1999

This taxon is represented by eight specimens from Laguna Fría. The lower molars closely resemble, in size and structure, those of Derorhynchus minutus , from the late early Eocene of the La Meseta Formation in Antarctica. Lower molars have all characteristic features of the Derorhynchus species : small paraconid, short talonid, and high, spirelike entoconids. The Laguna Fría specimens are almost identical in size to those of the La Meseta Fm.
