Type species: Zafra mitriformis A. Adams, 1860

Diagnosis. Shell small, fusiform, about 3 teleoconch whorls. Sculpture of axial ribs, no spiral sculpture apart from basal cords. Aperture narrow to rather wide. Inside of outer lip denticulate.
