( Figs. 7, 21 View FIGURES 6 – 32 , 37 View FIGURES 33 – 52 , 55–56 View FIGURES 53 – 78 )
Type material. Holotype, male. Indonesia, Papua Prov., Yapen Island, Road Konti Unai –Ambaid, 136°19´E 1°45´S, 600–700 m ( A00407 View Materials , LMBC) GoogleMaps ; Paratypes, 2 males, same locality data (A00406, 408, LMBC) GoogleMaps .
Diagnosis. Cladophorus boceki is closely related to C. praecipuus ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 4 – 5. 4 ) and both species are similar in the general appearance ( Figs. 21, 30 View FIGURES 6 – 32 , 37, 47 View FIGURES 33 – 52 ). Despite their very low genetic divergence, these species are clearly defined by the length of antennal lamella 3 ( Figs. 7, 14 View FIGURES 6 – 32 ), the relative size of male eyes (ratio 1.55 and 2.02 in C. boceki and C. praecipuus , respectively) and C. boceki has a robust phallus with the gradually pointed apical part unlike C. praecipuus , which has the slender phallus, parallel-sided in four-fifths of its length ( Figs. 55–56, 73–74 View FIGURES 53 – 78 ).
Description. Male. Body large, 13.6–14.1 mm long, dark brown to black, elytra yellow, only apical 1/12 black ( Fig. 37 View FIGURES 33 – 52 ), transition between dark and light coloured parts of elytra abrupt, only elytral costae with slightly larger dark part ( Fig. 37 View FIGURES 33 – 52 ). Head small, with hemispherically prominent eyes, frontal interocular distance 1.52 times maximum diameter; antennae long, reaching two thirds of elytral length, flabellate, antennomere 3 with lamella 2.4 times longer than stem of antennomere, lamella attached to apical part of antennomere ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 6 – 32 ). Pronotum transverse, 1.5 times wider than long at midline, lateral margins slightly elevated, frontal margin rounded, lateral margins bi-sinuate, frontal angles well marked, posterior angles sharply prominent, postero-lateral carinae weak ( Fig. 21 View FIGURES 6 – 32 ). Elytra flat, slightly widened posteriorly, transverse costae weak, partly covered by pubescence, elytral areoles slightly transverse ( Fig. 37 View FIGURES 33 – 52 ). Phallus robust, widest in apical third, gradually acuminate apically, with robust apical process ( Figs. 55–56 View FIGURES 53 – 78 ).
Measurements. BL 13.6–14.1 mm, PL 1.95–2.0 mm, PW 2.85–2.95 mm, WH 1.60–1.65 mm, Edist 1.02 mm, Ediam 0.66 mm, LE 11.6 mm, antennomere 3: stem 1.1 mm, lamella 2.6 mm.
Distribution. Yapen Island ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1 – 3. 1 – 2 ).
Etymology. The species name is a patronym in honor of Matej Bocek (Olomouc).
