11. Draba media View in CoL [var.] α lasiocarpa Lipsky (1904: 55) [ Draba stenocarpa Hook. f. & Thomson ].

Type locality indication: “Prov. Semireczje … Prov. Syr-Darya … Prov. Samarkand … Prov. Fergana … Prov. Transkaspia … Shahrisabz … Hissar … Karategin … Darwas … Kulcza …” (27 syntypes cited).

Lectotype (designated here):— UZBEKISTAN. [Kashka-Darya Prov., Hissar range, Khshtut basin]. Bukhara , Shahrisabz, Khanaka in Khazret-Sultan. 9000’, 4 June 1899, [fl., fr. immat.], V. H. Lipsky 908 [originally in Russian] ( LE!). Other syntypes mainly in LE!

Among the 27 gatherings of D. media var. lasiocarpa cited in the protologue, six were collected by Lipsky, including the lectotype. The latter was cited as “Shahrisabz: Khanaka not far from Severtsov’s Glacier, 9.000’, fl. et fr. 4 July 1899 (!!): folia dentata”.
