Distribution
Austria, Czechia, France, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine ( Merz and Korneyev 2011). The species (Fig. 2 b) is here recorded as new to Italy.
Biology
The larvae feed in flower heads of Doronicum austriacum Jacq. ( Loew 1856).
