Genus Sucinocantharis gen. nov.
Type species: Sucinocantharis baltica sp. nov.
Diagnosis. Antennae 16-segmented; last 5 segments filiform, segments 3–8 dilated, saucer-shaped.
Etymology. The generic name is derived from latin “ sucinum ” – amber and Cantharis . Gender: feminine.
