Lectotype (Hedge in Jarvis & al. in Taxon 50: 518. 2001): Herb. Clifford: 13, Salvia 16 (BM-000557608) .

Current name: Salvia pinnata L. View in CoL ( Lamiaceae ).

Note: Hedge (in Meikle, Fl. Cyprus: 1291. 1985) treated 42.52 (LINN) as the type, but this is rejected as a post-1753 addition to the herbarium. However, there is good material in the Clifford herbarium which Hedge subsequently designated as the lectotype.
