Diagnosis.
Solitary, subcylindrical, free. Tendency to bud new coralla from margin zone with subsequent loss of organic connection. Wall thin. Columella trabecular, no pali.
Type species.
Coelosmilia fecunda Pourtalès, 1871, by monotypy.
