Identification. Lamina of leaves with non-sinuous walls and differentiated median cells. This species is similar to F. flaccidus but with diagonally arranged cells with respect to the costa and the clavate gemmae absent on the stem. Briocenological group: saxicolous and terricolous. Brazilian range. AC, BA, CE, GO, MA, PB, PE, SP (moderate distribution).
