Lebertia (Mixolebertia) wuyiensis sp. nov. ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 )
Material examined. Holotype: one female (slide number FJ-LE-20180823) from Mount Wuyi , Fujian, P. R. China (117.79202 E, 27.66682 N), 710 m a.s.l., leg. Min Ao, 6-VIII-2018. GoogleMaps
Diagnosis. Cx-I and Cx-II almost equal in medial length. Mediodistal setae close to ventrodistal seta on P-3. P-4 narrower through the distal part, ventral sectors 2: 1: 1. Swimming setae number: II-L-5 7, III-L-4 11, III-L-5 12, IV-L-4 9, IV-L-5 12.
Description. Female. Integument smooth ( Fig. 4B View FIGURE 4 ). Cx-I and Cx-II almost equal in medial length (Cx-I/II 1.03) ( Fig. 4A View FIGURE 4 ). Cx-II caudal margin rather narrow (W 29). V1 not fused to Cx-IV, V3 very close to Cx-IV margin. Posteromedial angles of Cx-IV slightly pronounced, with convex posterior margin. Excretory pore unsclerotized. Chelicerae slightly short compared to palp total length ( Fig. 4D View FIGURE 4 ). Gnathosoma slender ( Fig. 4E View FIGURE 4 ). P-1 with one long dorsodistal seta ( Fig. 4C View FIGURE 4 ). P-2 stouter (L/H 1.53), ventrodistal seta long, four dorsal setae in a row, medial seta long and near the dorsodistal margin. P-3 proximal part slightly narrowed, dorsal seta and dorsodistal seta rather long and close to each other, dorsal seta rather long and at the medial portion, rather long medial seta and rather long ventrodistal seta close to each other. P-4 proximal and medial portion equal in H, distal part narrowed unequally, peg-like seta at the terminal, ventral sectors 2: 1: 1. Seven distal setae in a row on III-L-3 ( Fig. 4F View FIGURE 4 ). Swimming setae number: II-L-5 7, III-L-4 11, III-L-5 12, IV-L-4 9, IV-L-5 12.
Male. Unknown.
Etymology. Named after Mount “Wuyi” where the specimen was collected.
Habitat. Streams, clean and fast flowing, with some stones at the bottom.
Distribution. China (Fujian).
Remarks. This new species is similar to Lebertia (Mixolebertia) insignis Neuman, 1880 in that the medial length ratio of Cx-I to Cx-II is less than 2.0, mediodistal seta is close to ventrodistal seta on P-3, P-4 is narrowed in the distal part, and II-L-5 has numerous swimming setae. They differ in the following characters (data from Gerecke 2009): 1) P-4 ventral sectors 2: 1: 1 (1: 1: 1 in L. insignis ); 2) Legs swimming setae: II-L-5 7, III-L-4 11, III-L-5 12, IV-L-4 9, IV-L-5 12 (II-L-5 2, III-L-4 7–8, III-L-5 14–15, IV-L-4 8–10, IV-L-5 12 in L. insignis ); 3) Cx-I/II mL ratio 1.03 (1.20–1.30 in L. insignis ).
