Type locality: Tengchong County, Yunnan Province, China .

Diagnosis: As discussed in Teliphasa similalbifusa Li in Liu, Wang & Li, 2016. In T. hamata no sexual dimorphism is reported. Female genitalia ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 11–13 ) with posterior apophyses 2/3rd of anterior apophyses, thicker; antrum rectangular, heavily sclerotized; ductus bursae zig-zag, weakly sclerotized posteriorly; corpus bursae pyriform, signum nearly rectangular, with multiple minute spines.

Material examined. India, Sikkim, Dodak , 2 ♂, 05.v.2014, 5 ♀, 06.v.2014, 1 ♂, 07.v.2014, 10 ♂, 2 ♀, 24.ix.2014, 3 ♂, 1 ♀, 25.ix.2014. Ribdi, 1 ♀, 07.v.2014 , Uttarakhand, Chirbatiya , 1 ♂, 01.vi.2014 ( R. Ranjan leg.) (NZCZSI) .

Distribution: Indian record: Sikkim (present study). Global record: China ( Liu et al. 2016).
