Material examined: Lorestan, Khoram-Abad, Bisheh, 2096m, 6.vi.2007, N 33˚ 22΄ 53.2˝ & E 48˚ 43΄ 59.6˝, (A. Hajesmalian), 2Ψ. Khorasan-Razavi, Ghuchan, vineyard, 4.viii.2009, 1193m, (A. Hasani), 8Ψ & 2ɗ.

These are new records of O. discolor for Iran and extend its known range within the Palaearctic region, although it has been reported from western parts of the Middle East ( Noyes 2011). It is associated with herbaceous plants but hosts are unknown ( Zerova and Seryogina 2006).
