Glyptosternon sulcatus McClelland 1842 ZBK : 587, pl. 6 (figs. 1-3). Type locality: Kasyah [Khasi] Hills , Meghalaya, India. Possible holotype: BMNH 2005.5.17.5 .

Distribution: Brahmaputra drainage, India (Ng, 2006b).
