(Walsingham)

Presumed extinct

This species was described from two specimens: the holotype male collected by Perkins in 1894 at 5000 ft on Haleakalā, Maui and a questionably associated female paratype, collected in the same year at 4000 ft elevation on Molokaʻi. The female paratype likely represents an undescribed species, as most Pararrhaptica appear to be single island endemics. Like most other Pararrhaptica , it likely fed on Myrsine spp. (Primulaceae) .
