Distribution.

Colombia: Bogotá, Cundinamarca, Huila ( Rendón-Mera et al. 2017). — Native to Australia, adventive in Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, North Africa, and New Zealand ( Ouvrard 2023).

Host plant.

Acacia Mill. and Albizia A. ex Benth. ( Fabaceae ) ( Halbert and Burckhardt 2020); in this survey several adults were collected on Acacia decurrens (J. C. Wendl.) Willd. and A. melanoxylon R. Br. While the latter is confirmed in the literature as host, the former is not. Further studies will be necessary to find out whether A. decurrens serves as host to A. uncatoides .
