Holotype male seen; in good condition. One male from Uganda was dissected and illustrated.

Male terminalia. Sternite 5 longer than wide and with scaterred setae ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 1 – 16 ); cercal plate heart-shaped and surstylus as long as cercal plate in lateral view ( Figs 10, 11 View FIGURES 1 – 16 ); cercal plate closely resembling that of a species of Limnophora ; aedeagal complex as in Fig. 12 View FIGURES 1 – 16 ; hypandrium “U” shaped.
