Distribution.
Trans-Eurasian temperate range: this species is very widely distributed, ranging from European Russia through Siberia to the Far East of Russian ( Zalesskaja et al. 1982). In southwestern Siberia A. macrocephalus has been recorded in the Kemerovo and Tomsk areas, Republic of Altai and Altai Province ( Byzova and Chadaeva 1965; Zalesskaja et al. 1982; Nefediev et al. 2017a, c, d).
Remarks.
Apparently a very euryoecious species, A. macrocephalus has currently been recorded mainly from habitats on the southern slope.
