Distribution:— Peru.
Notes:— As suggested by Macbride (1951), this species should be carefully compared with Cnidoscolus urens to determine its status. Reports from Colombia might be misdeterminations of C. urens [as C. tubulosus var. trilobus ]. The holotype in B was probably destroyed; here we designated the specimen at F as the lectotype.
