Replaced synonym: Lichen verrucosus Huds. (1762).

Lectotype ( Jørgensen & al. in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 115: 337, 379. 1994): [icon] " Lichenoides verrucosum  & rugosum, cinereum, glabrum" in Dillenius, Hist. Musc.: 128, t. 18, f. 9 [pertusa element]. 1741. - Epitype ( Jørgensen & al. in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 115: 379. 1994): Herb. Dillenius Tab. XVIII, No. 9, upper central specimen ( OXF)  .

Current name: Pertusaria pertusa (Weigel) Tucker  ( Pertusariaceae  ).

Note: An illegitimate replacement name for Lichen verrucosus Huds. (1762).
