Synonyms: curvispina Tuomikoski, 1960 ; difficilis var. obscuratipes (Frey, 1948) .

New to British list.

Material examined: Austwick, North Yorkshire, 3 males, v.1933, Edwards leg. ( BMNH). Cadair Idris , Gwynedd , 13 males, 19.vi.1993; 2 males, 3.vii.1993; 1 male, 1.viii.1993; 51 males, 4.ix.1993, all Laurence leg. (PBLN).

Ecological notes: found on raised mire; open montane habitats. v–ix.
