52. Anoplodesmus obesus Pocock, 1895 View in CoL
Anoplodesmus obesus Pocock, 1895: 800 View in CoL (D).
Anoplodesmus obesus View in CoL — Attems, 1898: 350 (L, K); 1914: 206 (L, K); 1936: 208 (L, K); 1937: 105 (D, K); Jeekel, 1965a: 117 (D, R, K); 1968: 59 (M); Nguyen, 2010: 53 (L); Nguyen and Sierwald 2013: 1276 (L).
Records from Myanmar: Meteleo, Carin Mountains (Carin Cheba), 900– 1,200 m ( Pocock 1895); Puepoli, Carin Cheba ( Jeekel 1965a). Originally based on an indefinite number of syntypes of both sexes coming from Meteleo ( Pocock 1895), mostly in the London Museum. Two syntypes, one male and one female, as well as one male syntype of A. pinguis View in CoL (see just below), all from Puepoli, are in the Genoa Museum. Jeekel (1965a) redescribed A. obesus View in CoL from the Genoa samples and designated the male lectotype from both original syntypes.
