Current name: Campanula americana L. View in CoL ( Campanulaceae ).

Note: Reveal & al. (in Taxon 39: 696. 1990) proposed the conservation of this name with a conserved type but the Committee for Spermatophyta ruled that the collection in question is original material, and is to be accepted as the lectotype.
