Upper part of Arnstadt Formation, Middle Keuper Subgroup. Age: Upper Triassic (late Norian – Rhaetian).

Comments.

Numberger-Thuy et al. (2025) noted that these isolated teeth closely resemble corresponding tooth morphotypes of Eudimorphodon ranzii from the Upper Triassic (upper Norian –? Rhaetian) Calcare di Zorzino of Cene, Bergamo ( Italy) and possibly represent the first definitive record of Late Triassic pterosaurs from the CEB. Dalla Vecchia (2014) reviewed earlier German records of purported Late Triassic pterosaurs and questioned their identifications.
