Type material.
There are three syntypes in ZMB kept under No. 47040. The largest of them is 11.6 height. Another syntype is housed in the Museum of New Zealand (Te Papa Tongarewa) under accession number M 125108. leg. Suter.
Type locality.
New Zealand, Southern Island, Governors Bush, Hooker Valley.
