Description of species. Size small, color black, shining. Head wide, black above with a rufous tint on the margins of the rostrum; vertex flattened, sloping. Face black shining. Antennae yellow with first joint black. Maxillary palpi long, yellowish, V-segment of palpi long and feebly widening at apex. Pronotum black, pubescent, with convex anterior margin, lateral lobes black. Legs yellowish, anterior tibia with only external tympanum; posterior femora with a feeble longitudinal brown band [Plate II].

Male. Elytra are membranous, wide, black, shining; mirror scarcely longer than broad; diagonal veins short, posterior femora with a feeble longitudinal brown band; lateral field blackish, presenting three parallel, straight veins and a 4th incomplete one.

Female. Elytra corneous, convex with plain longitudinal veins, ovipositor flavous at base, darkened in the middle, posterior femora with a feeble longitudinal brown band.

Materials examined (9 specimens). India: Meghalaya: 2♂ West Khasi Hills 4.vi.2013, 1♂ 1♀ Ribhoi 3.vi.2013, 1♂ 1♀, Upper Shillong 8.vi.2013, 3 ♀ Mawphlang 2.vi.2013.

Distribution. India and S.E. Asia.
