Specimens examined. PERU. Cajamarca: Cajamarca, route PE-08, km 161, Abra Gavilán , 3187 m, 7º14′53.4”S, 78º28′13.5”W, 15 Apr 2013, twigs, Lado 22591 (MA-Fungi 94933), leaves of Eucalyptus sp. , Lado 22595 (MA-Fungi 94936) GoogleMaps .
Notes. The Peruvian material matched the description of the species in Cainelli et al. (2020) yet differed by the pale band on the spores and the yellowish stalk, brown towards the apex, as opposed to spores of uniform colour and stalk of orange-brown to reddish brown described in the Ph. gravidum . The specimen may resemble Ph. pusillum , but spore ornamentation in the latter consists of prominent groups of warts.
