128. Physarum cf. globuliferum (Bull.) Pers., Syn. View in CoL meth. fung. 1: 175 (1801)

Specimen examined. PERU. Ancash: Asunción, Chacas, Jambón , route AN-107, km 84, 3077 m, 9º09′13”S, 77º22′59”W, 10 May 2018, leaves of Alnus acuminata, Lado 26203 (MA-Fungi 97006) GoogleMaps .

Notes. This specimen present the distinctive features of the species, i.e., elongated calcareous stalk, short conical columella, and dense capillitium. Uncertainty on the specific determination arises from the sparsely calcified sporothecae in the collections and the spores lacking groups of warts as ornamentation, as described in Poulain et al. (2011).
