Indonemoura guangdongensis Li & Yang View in CoL , sp. nov.

( Figs. 13–18 View FIGURES 13 – 18 )

Diagnosis Epiproct with distinct apical incision, with ventral sclerite expanded ventrally into a large semicircular ridge narrowing apically with a row of black spines. Median lobe with round lobe and two triangular proximal sclerites. Outer lobe slender at base and then swollen toward trifurcate tip, apical spines with the outer one curved proximally and the inner one forked.

Male. Forewing length 5.9 mm, hindwing 5.2 mm. Head and mouthparts dark brown; compound eyes dark. Thorax yellow; antennae, abdomen, legs brownish yellow; wings hyaline; hypoproct brown; hairs on abdomen mostly pale.

Terminalia ( Figs. 13–17 View FIGURES 13 – 18 ): Tergum 9 weakly sclerotized, with small midanterior and midposterior incisions, and with two groups of tiny spines at middle. Sternum 9 with slender vesicle; hypoproct rather wide basally, then distinctly tapering toward tip. Tergum 10 weakly sclerotized except anterior margin distinctly sclerotized, with a rather deep median concavity bearing two groups of tiny spines along its anterolateral margin. Cercus membranous, longer than wide. Epiproct basally parallel in dorsal view, with distinct apical incision, with ventral sclerite strongly sclerotized, broad at base and becoming narrower toward apex, expanded ventrally into a very large semicircular ridge narrowing apically with a row of black spines. Paraproct divided into three lobes: inner lobe pointed, distinctly sclerotized, adhering to large median lobe; median lobe mostly sclerotized, well developed, with round lobe and two triangular proximal sclerites; outer lobe strongly sclerotized, slender at base and then swollen toward trifurcate tip, apical spines with the outer one curved proximally and the inner one forked.

Female. Forewing length 6.8 mm, hindwing 5.8 mm. Body coloration as in male.

Terminalia ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 13 – 18 ): Sternum 7 with two dark droplet–like markings. Sternum 8 with subgenital plate sclerotized except outer margins darkly sclerotized, subquadrate and expanded posterolaterally. Cercus membranous.

Type Material. Holotype: male, CHINA: Guangdong, Ehuangzhang, Xianhu, 2002. V.2, Z. Xu. Paratypes 2 males and 1 female, same data as holotype.

Distribution. China (Guangdong).

Etymology. The specific name refers to its type locality.

Remarks. The new species is related to I. fujianensis from Fujian, but may be separated from the latter by the following features: median lobe of paraproct with round lobe and two triangular proximal sclerites; outer lobe slender at base and then swollen toward trifurcate tip, apical spines with outer one curved proximally and upward. In fujianensis , the median lobe of the paraproct is narrow and has no sclerotized lobes; the outer lobe of the paraproct is robust at the base and tapers toward the furcated tip, the apical spine is curved downward (Li & Yang 2005).
