7. Sorolopha ferruginosa Kawabe, 1989 View in CoL
( Figs. 10 View FIGURES 9 – 11 )
Sorolopha ferruginosa Kawabe, 1989: 30 View in CoL , figs. 17, 106 (adult, 3 genit., Thailand).
Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. dyspeista Diakonoff, 1973 in the genitalia, but it differs from the latter in the relatively shorter cucullus possessing a semicircular ventral prominence and the longer aedeagus. In S. dyspeista the cucullus has a very long, elongate semioval ventral prominence, and the aedeagus is very short. S. ferruginosa also resembles S. bryana in appearance, but it can be separated from the latter by the paler median fascia with a weakly defined proximal margin and a straight distal margin. The female genitalia of S. ferruginosa ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 9 – 11 ) are similar to those of S. cervicata Diakonoff. The papillae anales are narrow; the apophyses posteriores are about the same length as the apophyses anteriores; the sterigma inverted triangular, aciculate, with caudal margin expanded and deeply concave medially. The colliculum is short; the ductus bursae is short, membranous; and the corpus bursae is oval, with two small, rounded signa.
