Type:— UZBEKISTAN. Ferghana Depression: Kurama Mt Range , Pap-Chust foothills, vicinities of Muruldi and Kandisai villages, Artemisia steppe, 30 March 2013, K. Tojibaev 161 ( TASH000512 !) .
Description:—Flowers are reddish-orange or light red, with black or dark brown blotch. Filaments bicoloured: pale brownish in the basal part and red or reddish in the upper part ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 ). The colour of the filaments is mostly the same as the basal blotch. The flowers of this variety are similar to flowers of T. korolkowii , but smaller and reddish-orange or light red (the flowers of T. korolkowii are darker, bright red or crimson).
