Remark. Shtanchaeva & Subías (2012a) described S. (T.) adelaidae from several locations of Caucasus including Georgia. In the revision of Caucasian ptyctimous mites Niedbała (2015) compares this description with description of S. (T.) carinatus and ascertains that S. (T.) adelaidae is conspecific with S. (T.) carinatus .
