Distribution. N. capillosa is known up to now from the Ganga River System in Uttarakhand, India, to eastern Central Nepal (Khumbu region), but the exact distribution area still remains vague. Specimens reported from Afghanistan (Kunartal), Kumaon and Tanakpur by LEDOUX & ROUX (1992b) refer to N. incognita n. sp. (see below).
