Lectotype (Anderberg in Jarvis & Turland in Taxon 47: 363. 1998): Herb. Linn. No. 999.34 ( LINN) .

Current name: Limbarda crithmoides (L.) Dumort. View in CoL ( Asteraceae ).

Note: Alavi (in Jafri & El-Gadi, Fl. Libya 107: 76. 1983) indicated both LINN and Clifford (BM) material as the type, but as these collections are not part of a single gathering, Art. 9.15 does not apply.
