Distribution

Brazilian coast ( Paraíba and Rio de Janeiro States) ( Amaral et al. 2013, Costa et al. 2017, Read and Fauchald 2020~).

Distribution in Paraíba: Seixas Beach ( Costa et al. 2017) and Miramar Beach (New record).

Notes

Found inside the rhodoliths.

Diagnosis

( Hutchings and Smith 1997, Rozbaczylo et al. 2006): Prostomium carry tentacular lobe horseshoe-shaped with numerous grooved tentacles; eyespots arranged in two or three rows on the posterior margin of the tentacular lobe. Three pairs of branchiae with spiral filaments, on segments 2 to 4. (Fig. 7 a). Segment 6 with three pairs branchiae with spiral filaments. Notochaetae capillaries-like arranged in two rows. Uncini from chaetiger 3; uncinigers ( ‘tori’) from segment 2.
