Remarks. Only females and juveniles have been recorded of this species. The specimens have been assigned to the genus Paracaprella on the basis of the combination of the following features: antenna 2 flagellum 2-articulate, mandibular palp reduced, molar present, gills on pereonites 3 and 4, pereopods 3 and 4 2-articulate and pereopods 5–7 six-articulate. Species level identification was not possible owing to the absence of male specimens.
