Head of holotype and some specimens from China, Nanling National Nature Reserve, black, except mandible yellow; in specimen from Thailand, 19°27'N 98°20'E, mandible and clypeus testaceous; antenna of holotype and specimen from China, Nanling National Nature Reserve, brown, except segments 1–2 and partly 3 testaceous; in specimen from Thailand, 19°27'N 98°20'E, antenna totally testaceous; mesosoma black, with lateral regions of pronotum and occasionally also posterior margin of pronotum reddish; in specimen from China, Nanling National Nature Reserve, pronotum completely black; metasoma brown or black; legs testaceous, except meso- and metacoxa partly black; occasionally procoxa partly black. Antenna clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 14:7:26:17:14:11:9:8:6:9. Head dull or shiny, reticulate rugose; frontal line complete; occipital carina complete, laterally not reaching eyes; POL = 6; OL = 3; OOL = 7.5; OPL = 3; TL = 3. Pronotum (Plate 79A) with median transverse impression and slight posterior impression; disc not humped; anterior surface of pronotum and lateral regions shiny, unsculptured; posterior surface strongly punctate, unsculptured among punctures; posterior transverse impression sculptured by many short longitudinal keels; pronotal tubercle not reaching tegula. Scutum completely reticulate rugose. In specimen from Laos, Ban Houaykong, anterior half of median area of scutum reticulate rugose, posterior half sculptured by many transverse folds. Notauli indistinct, incomplete, reaching about 0.5 length of scutum. In specimen from Laos, Ban Houaykong, notauli complete and posteriorly broadly separated. Scutellum reticulate rugose; in specimen from Thailand, 19°27'N 98°20'E, scutellum smooth and with few strong punctures. In specimen from Laos, Ban Houaykong, scutellum strongly punctate and unsculptured among punctures. Metanotum reticulate rugose. Propodeum reticulate rugose, without transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; posterior surface with two complete longitudinal keels; in specimen from Thailand, 19°27'N 98°20'E, posterior surface with two very short longitudinal keels. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein approximately as long as proximal part, or longer (14:10; or 12:11). In holotype and specimen from China, Nanling National Nature Reserve, segment 1 of protarsus about twice as long as 4 (23:11). In specimen from Thailand, 19°27'N 98°20'E, protarsal segments in following proportions: 30:3:6:11:18. Segment 3 of protarsus produced into hook. Enlarged claw not spatulate (Plate 79B) with one strong subdistal tooth and one row of 6–7 lamellae. Segment 5 of protarsus (Plate 79B) with two rows of three (proximal) + 11 lamellae (in holotype); in specimen from Thailand, 19°27'N 98°20'E, segment 5 of protarsus with two rows of seven + six lamellae; in specimens from China, Nanling National Nature Reserve, segment 5 of protarsus with two rows of 10–12 lamellae. Distal apex of segment 5 of protarsus with six–ten lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
