Frontal line complete; occipital carina complete, laterally not reaching eyes. Holotype with POL = 5.5; OL = 5; OOL = 16; OPL = 3; TL = 7; greatest breadth of posterior ocelli as long as OL; in specimen from China, Nanling National Nature Reserve, POL = 3; OL = 2.5; OOL = 10; OPL = 1; TL = 3; greatest breadth of posterior ocelli as long as OL. Pronotum shiny, hairy, alutaceous, with many longitudinal striae on lateral regions, around disc and on posterior collar; pronotum with disc humped and posterior collar long; pronotal tubercle not reaching tegula. Scutum of holotype dull, hairy, granulated and reticulate rugose; scutum of specimen from China, Nanling National Nature Reserve, with lateral regions granulated and reticulate rugose and median region granulated and with many rugosities near posterior margin. Notauli almost complete, almost reaching posterior margin of scutum (but slightly visible near posterior margin of scutum among areolae). Scutellum and metanotum of holotype dull, hairy, granulated and reticulate rugose; scutellum of specimen from China, Nanling National Nature Reserve, granulated, not rugose. Metapleura dull, strongly transversely striate. Propodeum hairless, reticulate rugose, without longitudinal or transverse striae, with dorsal surface longer than posterior surface (17:10). Fore wing with three dark transverse bands; in holotype distal part of stigmal vein about three times as long as proximal part (25:8); in specimen from China, Nanling National Nature Reserve, distal part of stigmal vein less than three times as long as proximal part (23:10). Protarsal segments of holotype in following proportions: 26:4:8:20:33; Protarsal segments of specimen from China, Nanling National Nature Reserve, in following proportions: 24:4:7:20:32.
