Description of Male. Fully winged; length 2.3–2.9 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna brown; mesosoma black; metasoma missing in holotype; legs testaceous, except proximal half of metacoxa black. In specimen from China, Pingwu, antenna brown, except segments 7–10 testaceous, and metasoma brown. Antenna filiform, with hairs slightly shorter than breadth of segments; antennal segments in following proportions: 7.5:4.3:7.5:7:7:7:6:6:6:7.7. Head shiny, densely punctate, unsculptured among punctures; vertex without two oblique keels from posterior ocelli to occipital carina; frontal line absent; occipital carina complete; POL = 2.4; OL = 1.4; OOL = 6.2; OPL = 3.3; TL = 4. Scutum shiny, punctate and unsculptured among punctures. Notauli thin, incomplete, reaching approximately 0.5 length of scutum (not 0.3 as written in original description). Scutellum and metanotum shiny, smooth, punctate, unsculptured among punctures. In specimen from China, Pingwu, metanotum with few areolae. Propodeum dull, reticulate rugose, with transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; posterior surface completely reticulate rugose, with two longitudinal keels (in specimen from China, Pingwu, longitudinal keels irregular). Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein slightly shorter than proximal part (4.5: 7 in holotype; 9: 11 in specimen from China, Pingwu). Pterostigma more than four times as long as broad. Genitalia of holotype missing. Paramere of specimen from China, Pingwu (Plate 57A) with inner branch sculptured by papillae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
Female. Unknown.
Material examined. Type: holotype ♂: CHINA: Jiangxi, Nanchang City , 1978, Zhengxiang Ye leg. ( ZJUC). Other material. CHINA: Sichuan, Baimazhai, Pingwu , 25.VII.2006, Hongying Zhang leg., 1♂ ( ZJUC) .
