Description of Female. Fully winged; length 1.6–2.4 mm. Head black, except mandible whitish; antenna black, except segment 1 white and 2 testaceous; mesosoma and metasoma black; foreleg testaceous, except coxa, trochanter and femur white; midleg testaceous, except one black spot on femur; hindleg testaceous, except one black spot on coxa and femur. Antenna clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 7:5:5:6:7:7:6:5:5:7. Head dull, granulated, with some areolae near occipital margin behind ocellar triangle; frontal line complete; occipital carina complete; vertex slightly excavated behind ocellar triangle; in specimen from China, Taiwan, Meifeng, POL = 7; OL = 4; OOL = 3; OPL = 5; TL = 4; in further specimen from China, Fujian, Sangang, POL = 6; OL = 4; OOL = 3; OPL = 4; TL = 2.5. Palpal formula 5/2. Scutum dull, granulated, with numerous areolae near anterior margin. Notauli almost complete, almost reaching posterior margin of scutum. Scutellum and metanotum dull, granulated. Propodeum reticulate rugose, with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; posterior surface without longitudinal keels. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; stigmal vein straight, not curvilinear. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Description of male ( Plate 11A, B View PLATE 11 ). Fully winged; length 1.9–2.1 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna brown; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs brown, except tarsi, fore coxae and fore tibiae testaceous. Antenna filiform; antennal segments in following proportions: 5:4.5:5.5:6:6.5:7:8:8:7:11. Head dull, granulated and slightly reticulate rugose (areolae more visible on vertex); frontal line complete; occipital carina complete; mandible 4-dentate, with a rudimentary tooth ( Plate 11E View PLATE 11 ); holotype with POL = 6; OL = 4; OOL = 4.5; OPL = 3.5; TL = 3.5; further specimen from China, Taiwan, with POL = 7; OL = 3; OOL = 4.5; OPL = 3; TL = 3. Palpal formula 5/2 ( Plate 11C, D View PLATE 11 ). Scutum, scutellum and metanotum dull, granulated and reticulate rugose. Notauli of holotype of C. townesi incomplete, reaching approximately 0.7 length of scutum; in holotype of C. tianmushanensis notauli complete and posteriorly separated; notauli of holotype of C. liangshanensis incomplete, reaching approximately 0.75 length of scutum; in further specimens from China, Taiwan, notauli may be almost complete or they may reach approximately 0.7 length of scutum, with intermediate lengths. Propodeum reticulate rugose, with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; posterior surface without longitudinal keels. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; stigmal vein straight, not curvilinear ( Plate 11A, B View PLATE 11 ). Genitalia in plate 11F. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
