Anteon indicum Olmi 1984: 419; Guglielmino & Olmi 1997: 231.

Description of Female. Fully winged; length 2.2–3.1 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna testaceous; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs totally testaceous, occasionally with metacoxa and club of metafemur brown. Antenna slightly clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 10:4:5:6:5:5:5:5:5:9. Head shiny, slightly punctate, unsculptured among punctures; occasionally head more strongly punctate; frontal line absent or present; face without two lateral keels near orbits directed towards antennal toruli; occipital carina complete; POL = 7; OL = 5; OOL = 4; OPL = 5; TL = 3. Pronotum shiny, with transverse keels, with posterior surface shorter than scutum (6:16); pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Scutum shiny, smooth, slightly punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.3 length of scutum. Scutellum and metanotum shiny, smooth, unsculptured. Propodeum with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; dorsal surface reticulate rugose; posterior surface with two complete longitudinal keels and median area shiny, smooth, with few keels near margins, occasionally with keels also in central area. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein much shorter than proximal part (3:7). Protarsal segments in following proportions: 9:2:2:2.5:12.5. Enlarged claw (Plate 30B) with proximal prominence bearing one long bristle. Segment 5 of protarsus (Plate 30B) with basal part longer than distal part (10:2.5), with one row of five lamellae; distal apex with about 16 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Male. Unknown.

Material examined. Types: holotype ♀: INDIA: Karnataka (= Mysore), Bangalore , IV.1924, ex Idiocerus nymph, T.V. Subramanian leg. ( BMNH) . Paratype: same locality label as holotype, 1♀ ( BMNH) . Other material. CHINA: Taiwan, Pingtung, Shantimen ( AMNH) .

Hosts: Cicadellidae : in India (Karnataka): Idiocerus sp. ( Guglielmino & Olmi, 1997).

Distribution. China (Taiwan), India (Karnataka).
