Hosts: Myocastor coypus (Molina) , Lagidium viscacia (Molina) (cited as L. v. boxi ), Lepus europaeus Pallas.
Site of infection: bile ducts.
Localities: Atalaya, Buenos Aires Province; Las Bayas, Río Negro Province; Andean Patagonian Region , Chubut Province .
Life history: H 1: Lymnaea viatrix d' Orbigny from Corrientes and Chubut Province; L. columella Say, 1817 and Lymnaea sp. (cited as L. palustris ) (natural hosts) from Corrientes Province ( Lombardero et al., 1979, Prepelitchi et al. 2003, 2004, Kleiman et al. 2004).
