This species is widely distributed in the Afrotropical Region ( Mound 2010) and is known from many kinds of plants (Anonymous 2013). A single female was intercepted from Ethiopia at Aalsmeer on Rosa , cut flower, 24.xi.2005 (A. O.Roes).
