Trachemys decussata —T.H.Ng& K.K.P.Lim, 2010:123(Jurong Lake;Lower Seletar Reservoir; MacRitchie Reservoir; Upper Peirce Reservoir; Upper Seletar Reservoir).—D.C.J. Yeo & C.S.W. Chia, 2010: 35.—N. Baker & K.P. Lim, 2012: 125.—K.K.P. Lim, 2013d: 119 (Botanic Gardens).—N. Baker, 2015b: 56, 57 (MacRitchie Reservoir).—H.H. Tan, 2015: 99 (Botanic Gardens).—Wijedasa, 2015: 180.—H.H. Tan, 2016b: 137 (Bishan Park).

Remarks. Trachemys decussata is native to Cuba (TTWG 2021), but has been reported from SBG, JL, LS, MR, UPR, and USR (Ng & Lim 2010; Lim 2013; Baker 2015b). As T. decussata bears resemblance to T. scripta, it may be more common and widespread than perceived. However, it remains unknown whether T. decussata has established breeding populations in Singapore. Thus, for now we choose to keep T. decussata off Singapore’s herpetofauna checklist.

LKCNHM & NHMUK Museum specimens. Upper Peirce Reservoir : ZRC.2.6497 (02-Aug-2007) , ZRC.2.6554 (20-Jun-2007) .
