Remarks. Mauremys sinensis is native to southern China, Hainan, Taiwan, and Vietnam (TTWG 2021). Between the 1900s and 2000s, M. sinensis was imported into Singapore as pets (Ng & Lim 2010). Since then, individuals of M. sinensis have been observed in numerous localities, including ECP, MR, SBG (Ng 2009; Wijedasa 2015), BR, MR, USR (Ng & Lim 2010), and SBWR ( Baker 2015a; Trageser 2015).
