Python regius — N. Baker, 2020c: 99 (Old Upper Thomson Road ) .
Remarks. Recently on 24 April 2020, a P. regius was found along the drain running along OUTR (Baker 2020). Python regius is native to western and central Africa (Wallach et al. 2014); thus, the snake was most certainly a released pet. Python regius is popular in the pet trade, and is celebrated for its exorbitant number of captive-bred colour morphs. The individual featured in Baker (2020) was identified as a “killer blast” morph.
