Remarks. Gray (1845) reported a specimen of C. calyptratus at NHMUK from Singapore, and Boulenger (1887) examined two specimens from Cantor that were imported into Singapore (Werner 1902). Chamaeleo calyptratus is native to Yemen and Saudi Arabia ( Glaw 2015).
