Andrena xanthothorax Eversmann 1852: 18 , ♀, ♂ (type locality: Kasan, Orenburg, Russia).
Material examined. Kazakhstan: 1 ♂, Kostanaiskaya Prov., Zatobolsk [63º41'E 53º12'N], 9.VIII.2009, K. Fadeev ( RCMK).
Distribution. Large parts of Europe, Georgia, * Kazakhstan.
Remarks. This is the first confirmed record for Central Asia and the easternmost for this species. Previous records of C. succinctus from Kazakhstan ( Popov 1934: 53; Kuhlmann 2005: 1380) turned out to be misidentifications and belong to C. arsenjevi ( Kuhlmann & Proshchalykin 2013a).
