Lepidura mallecoensis Dasch, 1974

Lepidura mallecoensis Dasch, 1974 . 18, 22, 452, 476 (Original description, keyed, comparative illustration of wing venation and metasoma); Lanfranco, 1980. 79 (Listed).

Diagnosis: Antenna dark brown. Body mostly yellowish green. Head yellowish green with ocellar region dark brown. Mesosoma entirely dark brown, except tegula green and lateral surface of propodeum brown. Anterior and posterior margins of all tibiae, tarsi, central portion of T2 and T3, dark brown. Supra-antennal area (except near ocelli), vertex, T2–T4 dorsally and segments 5 and forward light brown, including hypopygium and ovipositor sheath. Anterior transverse carina of propodeum complete. Propodeum without areola, but with subpentagonal area delimited by complete lateral longitudinal and posterior transverse carina and incomplete anterior transverse and median longitudinal carina ( Fig. 1 ). Vein 1m-cu&(RS+M)b strongly angled.

Type material: Holotype female ( USU, examined).

Type locality: CHILE: Región de la Araucanía: Malleco (Parque Nacional Nahuelbuta) .

Distribution ( Fig. 5 ): CHILE: Región de la Araucanía: Río Blanco, Parque Nacional Nahuelbuta ( Dasch, 1974). * Región de Los Ríos: Valdivia (Curiñanco).

Material Examined: 1 female: Holotype, Parque Nacional Nahuelbuta , Malleco, Chile, Jan. 24-27, 1967, L. Stange ( USU). 1 female: Curiñanco 3, 20/02/07 (UACh).
